Saturday, May 14, 2:00 pm: The Minnesota DX Club meets here the second Saturday of the month from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Stop in and learn about the latest in radio and television reception, antenna, and receiver design.

Tuesday, May 17, 7:00 pm: The Audio Society of Minnesota presents Jeff Haagenstad, of Exogal.
The Twin Cities are a hot bed of hi-fi product development, and few folks have created as much excitement as local startup Exogal. Unlike many of our local audio heroes, Exogal is a digital audio company, and last year their Comet took the audiophile community by storm. CEO Jeff Haagenstad will be our guest for May. He’ll bring along some gear and his own brand of geekery, and we may just get a preview of their upcoming Ion Power DAC. So, come one, come all to the final ASM meet of the 2015-2016 season … see you there!

Thursday, May 19: The opening of the Hubbard Broadcasting Concourse at the Newseum in Washington D.C.: Hubbard Broadcasting will become the Newseum's 16th Founding Partner, joining a long list of families, foundations and corporations that have made extraordinary contributions to broadcasting.

“Our family has always been a strong advocate of a free press,” said Stanley S. Hubbard, chairman and CEO of Hubbard Broadcasting. “Because it is the only institution solely devoted to educating the public about the fundamental value of First Amendment freedoms and free expression, the Newseum is a great gift to the nation and the world. It’s an honor for our family and our company to help support this noble cause.” The Newseum’s Concourse Level will be named the Hubbard Broadcasting Concourse.
